Certain terms and phrases have become associated with the coronavirus pandemic. We can no longer throw around words like “virus,” “pandemic,” “spread,” “germs,” etc. Choose your words carefully as much as we used to. Use these words with intention, and recognize that if you simply say “virus,” people will likely assume you mean coronavirus.
